Vivek Seva Kendra – Teachers’ Day Celebration 2025 ✨
Vivek Seva Kendra, a 40-year-old service organization in AGS Layout, Bengaluru, was established by local residents inspired by the timeless teachings of Swami Vivekananda. For decades, the Kendra has stood as a pillar of support for society by providing food, shelter, and education to children through funds and voluntary efforts.
On 5th September, the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, celebrated as Teachers’ Day, Vivek Seva Kendra organized a grand felicitation ceremony to honor the guiding lights of our community – our teachers.
🌟 The spotlight of the evening shone brightly on Mrs. Bindu Kirsur, the dynamic and dedicated Coordinator of Aditi Public School, AGS Layout, who was awarded the title of Best Educator/Coordinator. Known for her unwavering commitment, inspiring leadership, and compassionate guidance to hundreds of students, Mrs. Kirsur has set a benchmark in the field of education. Her recognition reflects not just her personal excellence, but also the pride of the entire AGS Layout community.
Adding to Aditi Public School’s pride, the Physical Education Teacher, Mr. Sudarshan of the school was also honored as the Best P.E. Teacher in AGS Layout. With a passion for fitness, discipline, and holistic growth, the awardee has been instrumental in nurturing not only strong bodies but also strong character among students. This recognition highlights the school’s commitment to both academic and extracurricular excellence.
Alongside her, other eminent personalities were honored – including the Principal of Jain College, Bengaluru, and Shri Suresh Acharya, a distinguished Sanskrit scholar holding an astonishing 8 M.A. degrees in diverse disciplines. Adding to the grandeur, 35 more outstanding teachers, professors, and educationists were felicitated for their invaluable contributions to society.
